Turkey Travel Diary

So at the start of July I spent two weeks in Hisaronu, Turkey with my boyfriend. From boat trips, to paragliding and nights out on the town, I had the most amazing time!! I love reading travel diaries and what people thought about certain places, so I thought I’d write my own about one of my favourite holidays!!

Turkey is a place I’d never really thought about going, my boyfriend recommended as he had been there a few times with family and absolutely loved it, I was wary but I agreed. Before we went we decided what trips we wanted to do (Paragliding, Jeep safari, Boat trips, Sea inflatable) and the places we wanted to visit. We done everything we wanted to do and more! The scenery was absolutely amazing! There was mountains everywhere. The sea was clear – you could see everything in it from the fish to the turtles.

Paragliding was an absolutely amazing experience – apart from the running off a mountain part!!
If you’re a person who is very adventurous and thrill seeking, this is definitely something I would recommend! Driving up the mountain for 2 hours to get to the top, gave me a lot of time to talk myself out of it and scare myself, in which I succeeded. But once I got up there and was strapped to my instructor, I had no choice but to run off the edge of that mountain and I definitely don’t regret it!! I ended up being 3000ft in the air and oh my god the views from up there was absolutely breath taking!!

The boat trips were also amazing! we got to jump off the boats, swim in the caves, climb up mountains / rocks and cliff jump. Our sunset boat trip even included a bonfire on the beach, These were definitely my favourite days!!

overall Turkey was an amazing place, all the locals are absolutely lovely and I would 100000000000% recommend it to everyone!!

I hope you enjoyed my Turkey travel diary!!

Love, Melissa X

Wow, Turkey looks great! Even though I'm not much of a thrill seeker, it looks very cool to be so high up in the air 🙂

Looks like you had an amazing time, your photos are stunning – especially the paragliding ones! Think I'd be way too scared to try it but looks amazing! I've never been to Turkey but it looks lovely 🙂
