October Roundup!

So, October hasn’t been a bad month. It hasn’t been the best, but it’s been good. I don’t even know where to start with this month!

We’ll start with the good things, the first being that I got two new tattoos this month! (I have four all together now!) These ones are really personal to me and I absolutely love them! I got them both on the same day and it took about 20 minutes for them both to be done. I actually really like the feeling of getting a tattoo (that’s so weird, I know!!!) so I wasn’t bothered by them at all. The first one I got done was ‘VI’ off centre on my wrist, which is the roman numerals for the number 6. The second one was my dads writing saying ‘Love You X’ with my mums soundwaves saying ‘love you’ wrapping around my arm. I absolutely love this one and the placement of it!! I’ll go into more details of meanings in a different post, this one is going to be rambley enough!
Secondly, my blog is growing!! I finally created an Instagram for my blog (which you can find here, I follow back!) and got into the hang of scheduling tweets to keep my profile updated and I also started tweeting and interacting a lot more! Since I have finally stuck to a schedule on my blog (Wednesdays and Sundays at 4.30pm:P) I have noticed my blog stats increase massively and also stay consistent! Blogging is something I have always wanted to do and I am so glad that I’ve met people who actually make me enjoy it and motivate me, I’ve made some real friends from blogging which I am so grateful for!! Shout out to my #GRLPOWR girls!!!
Finally, I’ve got around a bit this month! From visiting Essex and Poland I have had some amazing experiences and it has definitely made me want to travel more! From some well needed family time in Essex to seeing some amazing sights in Poland (travel diary coming Wednesday!) it has made me reflect on the important things and made me want to do so much more while I can!!
And finally, the only bad thing. My knee. I am currently hobbling my way through life with a torn meniscus and ligaments. I have absolutely never ever ever felt pain like it, so look after your knees! because I wouldn’t even wish this kind of pain on my worst enemy! From taking 22 tablets a day (i know) just to mask the pain, I can easily say these have been some of the hardest few months. Been restricted to certain things, feeling like a burden and having to absolutely struggle walking around Poland and in those over the knee boots I was in absolute agony! My next hospital appointment is soon, so hopefully it will all be sorted!
And of course, we can’t forget my monthly favourites! I have a few favourites this month!
(so sorry about that ugly background – backdrops were limited in Poland!)
My first being my new Nike Theas! I have wanted these for so long and finally got round to buying them this month. They are so comfy and go with most of my wardrobe! (obviously – they’re black)
Secondly, my new camera!! I absolutely love it. I have taken it everywhere with me since I got it! I also love the difference the better quality pictures make to my blog posts, definitely worth investing in!
Lastly my Aussie Miracle Hair Oil, I have micro bead extensions, so looking after my hair and the extensions is reaaaaally important. I love this oil because it is so lightweight and it makes my hair look so sleek and shiny without making it look greasy! It also helps tame my flyaways and baby hairs so well!
This month I have absolutely been loving James Arthurs new song, Say You Won’t Let Go! It is so cute I just love it! and Little Mix’s new song Shoutout To My Ex! how sasssy! I’d be lying if I said I haven’t had these two songs on repeat!
So, how did your October go? Let me know in the comments!
Hope you enjoyed,
Love, Melissa X
