So if you read my october roundup you would of seen that I went to Krakow, Poland for a few days! Krakow is a beautiful city and I had an amazing time. I went with my boyfriend, mum and brother!
Apart the fact I caught a horrible cold and chest infection and that it was absolutely freezing, we had an amazing time!
Krakow is has a million parks full of trees, lots of pretty old buildings and the whole place just looks like something off a postcard. I took lots and lots of pictures!
We actually went on one of the horse and carriage rides! With my knee being bad I couldn’t handle a lot of far walking, so the horse and carriage ride was perfect! They took us on a 30 minute tour of the town, we went down all the streets, got to see the church and the castle! (which was absolutely huge!!!)
How cute is that window with the flowers?!
Me and my brother Liam also rented segways for half an hour, it was so fun!! We got to drive round the square on them and go on our own mini tour of wherever we wanted to go! My mum didn’t want to have a go and Charlie was just to scared hahaha!! I was quite apprehensive about going on them at first but once I got used to it, I loved it! (We did nearly fall a few times from going to fast though)
Luckily for me, the apartment we stayed in was right next to a shopping mall!! (It had a Sephora!!!) My family and boyfriend hate shopping, but they were good sports and waited for me while I went into every make up shop I seen! There was also the cutest pop up NYX shop (in the corner of the pictures you can see it). And there where lots of little traditional market stalls, they were all so pretty and sold the cutest little things!!
How cute is this in Starbucks! You put a flag on where you are from, I think it is such a good idea!!
And of course I went make up shopping!! I got quite a few bits that I have wanted to try for a while! (Collective make up haul coming on Sunday!)
We was meant to go to Auschwitz, but we didn’t realise how far away it was from central Krakow! And the day we was planning on going my cough / chest infection was at its worst and my mum didn’t want me out for so long in the cold, so we left it! I am quite sad that we didn’t get to go because I was really looking forward to it, but me and my mum are planning on going back so that we can definitely go!!
Overall we had a fab time in Poland, it is such a pretty place and all of the locals are absolutely lovely!! (I also had one of the nicest kebabs I have ever tasted)
Have you ever been to Poland? Would you ever like to go? Let me know in the comments!
Hope you enjoyed!!
