My Christmas Traditions | Blogmas Day 11

christmas traditions me young

I love Christmas because even though it’s the same traditions every year, the day is always different. More special, funnier, more memories made. It’s one of my favourite days purely because it is spent with all my favourite people, so I thought I’d share my Christmas traditions!

((get on that glittery gloss and those cowboy boots, I loved those!!))

Putting the tree up a week before Christmas

I know. This is so late compared to when other people put theres up, but there’s a reason for it! Both mine and my brothers birthdays are in December and my mum has never put the tree up until after both of our birthdays. She never wanted us to feel like Christmas took over our birthdays so our tree always goes up around the 18th of December!

Matching Christmas Eve Jarmies

Every year me and my mum get matching jarmies for christmas eve, we’re so cute! This year we managed to convince my little brother to get involved too haha!

Christmas Eve

Christmas eve is spent snuggled up in jarmies, freshly fake tanned & my hair in rollers. Each year without fail I’m left wrapping all of my presents on christmas eve, I’m so unorganised. But once that is done I’m all comfy in bed with a massive glass of wine watching my favourite christmas films! Which is usually Love Actually or Nativity!

Christmas Morning

Even though i’m 20 and my brothers 18, we still wake up at 5am every christmas morning like excited kids! It never works though, my mum always sends us back to bed until 7am ha!

Christmas morning is usually spent at my aunties, my cousin comes down from Essex with the baby and we all have a big breakfast and exchange gifts, I love it!

Christmas Day

I love getting dressed up on Christmas day, I have an outfit and makeup look planned every year without fail! We go and see the rest of my family throughout the day before coming home for our dinner! For our Christmas dinner we only ever have it the three of us, which I love!

Christmas evening is usually spent at my nans, the whole family goes and everyone plays some games and gets drunk, it’s always a laugh! But as everyone is getting older, that’s starting to change! So this year I’ll be spending the evening with my boyfriend and his family and I can’t wait!

Christmas day isn’t far off, only 14 days! Two weeks!!

What are your christmas traditions?! Let me know in the comments!
